The 21st pick carries a slot value of $2,892,400.The Indians and supplemental second-round pick Tyler Freeman of Etiwanda High (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) came to terms. The 71st pick overall reportedly received $816,500, which is slot for that pick.
Pirates Sign Busby↑
The Pirates announced the signing of third-round pick Dylan Busby, the Florida State infielder. No terms were announced.Second-round pick Corbin Martin, a righthander from Texas A&M, have agreed to terms. No financial terms were disclosed, but the slot value for the No. 56 overall pick was $1,178,600.
Cards agree with top pick↑
The Cardinals agreed to terms with third-rounder Scott Hurst, the outfielder from Cal State Fullerton. No financial terms were announced. Other draft picks who agreed include Hurst’s teammate, Cal State Fullerton second baseman Taylor Bryant (33rd round), and Torrance (Calif.) High righthanded pitcher Alex Gallegos (35th round).Brendan McKay, the College Player of the Year, officially signed with the Rays on Tuesday after being the No. 4 overall pick on June 12. McKay reportedly got a bonus of $7,007,500, a record bonus in the current draft slotting system, and far above the $6,153,600 slot value.
Indians agree with five picks↑
Fifth-round pick Austen Wade was among five picks who agreed to term with the Indians on Wednesday. Others were UC Santa Barbara lefthander Kyle Nelson (15th round), Cal State Fullerton infielder Dillon Persinger (18th), San Jose State righthander Josh Nashed (19th) and Michigan lefthander Michael Hendrickson (28th).The Marlins said Friday they have agreed to terms with their top three picks, including No. 13 overall pick Trevor Rogers, a lefthander from Carlsbad High in New Mexico. Among 27 other signings announced Friday were supplemental first-rounder Brian Miller of North Carolina, and second-rounder Joe Dunand of N.C. State. Dunand is the nephew of Alex Rodriguez. Rogers will be assigned to Rookie-level GCL, while Miller and Dunand will be assigned to low Class A Greensboro.
Red Sox agree with Second-rounder↑
Boston agreed to terms with second-rounder Cole Brannen and righthander Alex Scherff, a fifth-round pick.Cleveland came to terms with fourth-round pick Ernie Clement of Virginia, Gonzaga righthander Eli Morgan, an eighth-rounder, ninth-rounder James Karinchak of Bryant, and 10th-rounder Jesse Berardi of St. John's.
Mariners, Carlson agree↑
The Mariners agreed to terms with Sam Carlson, a righthander from Burnsville (Minn.) High. No financials were disclosed, but Carlson reportedly got a $2 million bonus, far above the $1,206,900 attached to pick No. 55.Virginia's Adam Haseley and the Phillies agreed to terms, although no financial terms were disclosed. Haseley was the eighth overall pick, which comes with a bonus of $4,780,400, although he reportedly agreed to a $5.1 million bonus. The Phils also signed second-rounder Spencer Howard, a righthander, and fourth-round infielder Jake Scheiner, among others.
Angels To Sign Pearson↑
The Angels will sign third-round pick Jacob Pearson for a bonus of $1 million, Hudson Belinsky reports. Pearson was the 85th pick overall, which carries a slot value of $656,300.The Cardinals announced Thursday that they agree to terms with six draft picks, including seventh-rounder Chase Pinder of Clemson. Others agreeing to terms include lefthander Andrew Summerville (12th round), outfielder Terry Fuller (15th round), lefthander Jake Dahlberg (21st round), righthander Alex Fagalde (30th round) and righthander Cory Malcom (34th round).
Cubs Sign Little, Others↑
The Cubs announced the signing of top pick Brendon Little, a lefthander from State JC of Florida, the 27th overall pick. No financial terms were disclosed. The Cubs to date have signed 14 picks, including second-rounder Cory Abbott and third-rounder Keegan Thompson of Auburn.Second-round pick Gavin Sheets signs with the White Sox for $2 million, Hudson Belinsky reports. The slot value for pick No. 49 was $1,392,200.
Brewers, Hiura agree↑
Keston Hiura and the Brewers agreed to terms, with UC Irvine's Hiura getting a $4 million bonus, short of the $4.57 million value for the ninth overall pick.The Red Sox announced they came to terms with first-round pick Tanner Houck on a $2,614,500 signing bonus, which is slot value for the 24th overall selection.
D-Backs, Smith agree↑
The Diamondbacks have signed first-round pick Pavin Smith, Hudson Belinsky reported. He receives a bonus of $5,016,300, slot for the seventh overall pick.Nick Pratto, the 14th overall pick, agreed to terms. Pratto reportedly got a bonus of $3.45 million, slightly above the $3,727,600 value for that pick.

Washington signed 25 picks, with third-rounder Nick Raquet, a lefthander from William & Mary, the highest pick to sign.Boston agreed to terms with infielder Tanner Nishioka (ninth round) and outfielder Jordan Wren (10th round). Wren is the Red Sox senior vice president of baseball operations Frank Wren.

St. Louis agreed to terms with 13 draft picks, with the highest pick to agree to terms ninth-rounder Evan Kruczynski, a lefthander from East Carolina. Lefthander Brett Seeburger (10th round, San Diego State) and infielder Evan Mendoza (11th round, N.C. State) also agreed to terms.Texas signed its two first-round picks—outfielder Bubba Thompson from McGill-Toolen High in Mobile, Ala., and shortstop Chris Seise from West Orange High in Winter Garden, Fla.—as well as second-rounder Hans Crouse, a righthander from Dana Hills High in Dana Point, Calif.

The Pirates have signed 12 players, most notably second-rounder Calvin Mitchell, an outfielder from Rancho Bernardo High, and outfielder Connor Uselton from Southmoore High in Oklahoma who was a supplemental second-rounder.Houston made official the signing of 10 2017 draftees, including righthander Tyler Ivey (third round), catcher Nathan Perry (fifth round), Iowa first baseman Jake Adams (sixth round) and center fielder Corey Julks (eighth round).

L.A. announced it had signed 25 players, including its fifth through 10th round picks, most prominently fifth-rounder Riley Ottensen, the Utah righthander. No financial terms were disclosed.Austin Beck will sign with the A's today, Hudson Belinsky reports; He receives a bonus of $5,303,000, which is the alloted slot for the sixth overall pick. Oakland also agreed to terms with South Florida's Kevin Merrell, a supplemental first-rounder; Fourth-rounder Will Toffey (Vanderbilt); catcher Santis Sanchez (fifth round, IBA, Puerto Rico), lefthander pitcher Logan Salow (sixth round, Kentucky) and righthander Parker Dunshee (seventh round, Wake Forest).
Royals Sign Melendez↑
The Royals signed catcher MJ Melendez, their second-round pick, No. 52 overall, to a deal worth $2.1 million, well above the $1,295,700 slot value.The Braves announced the signing of No. 5 overall pick Kyle Wright, the righthander from Vanderbilt. Wright, the No. 2 prospect on the BA 500, reportedly received a $7 million signing bonus, well above the $5,707,300 allotted. Second-round outfielder Drew Waters from Etowah High (Woodstock, Ga.) also agreed to terms.
Ramos To Sign↑
The Giants have reached an agreement to sign first round pick Heliot Ramos. Ramos will receive a signing bonus of $3,101,700, which is slot for the 19th overall pick. Ramos was the No. 30 prospect in the BA 500.Jordon Adell has passed his physical and will sign with the Angels. The Louisville native receives a signing bonus of $4,376,800, which is the slot for the 10th overall pick. Adell will immediately become the Halos' top prospect. He was the No. 7 prospect in the BA 500. The Angels also announced that second-rounder Griffin Canning, the UCLA righthander, had agreed to terms.
